Aramco Showcases STEM Innovation at the FORMULA 1™ ARAMCO JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2026

The race begins beneath the iconic Aramco gantry at the FORMULA 1™ ARAMCO JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2026
The pinnacle of motorsport returned to Suzuka Circuit on 27–29 March for the FORMULA 1™ ARAMCO JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2026.
The event welcomed approximately 315,000 spectators, surpassing the 300,000 mark for the first time since 2006, and marking one of the largest attendances in recent history.
The Japanese Grand Prix is another proud milestone for Aramco in Japan. As the title sponsor of the FORMULA 1™ ARAMCO JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2026, we are building on our long history of energy leadership, partnership, and our ongoing commitment and investment in Japan.

Aramco played a key role in supporting F1’s testing of fuel formulations to help achieve its 2026 goal of operating all F1 cars on FIA compliant 100% sustainable fuel.
For the 2026 season, Aramco is the exclusive supplier of Aramco ProForce+, its FIA compliant 100% sustainable fuel, to the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1™ team, in addition to supplying lower carbon fuel to all F2, F3, and F1 Academy cars.

Fans gather at the Aramco and STEM Racing Japan booth to experience hands on STEM inspired activities at Suzuka
In partnership with STEM Racing Japan, Aramco Asia Japan brought science and technology to Suzuka with an engaging activation in the newly introduced Ferris Wheel Fan Zone—inviting fans to participate in miniature Formula 1® race experiences using STEM Racing prototype cars. STEM Racing offers a pathway for developing creativity, innovation, and engineering skills, inspiring the next generation of problem solvers to discover their potential.
The STEM Racing Japan activation attracted approximately 8,000 visitors, demonstrating strong interest among families, students, and fans eager to explore the intersection of motorsport and science.
This activation also builds on Aramco’s role as the presenting partner of the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals, investing in the next generation by bringing motorsport inspired STEM learning into classrooms around the world.
The weekend concluded with an exciting podium ceremony, where Saleh Y. Al Zaid, representing Aramco Asia, helped present the constructors’ winner’s trophy, underscoring Aramco’s presence both on and off the track.
