Aramco Asia Japan and Code for Everyoneagree to establish the “Aramco Noto Tech Hub Fund”

As part of Aramco’s Global Citizenship initiatives, Aramco Asia Japan K.K. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Waleed Murad; hereafter “AAJ”) has agreed to establish the "Aramco Noto Tech Hub Fund" and have Code for Everyone, a non-profit organization, serve as its operator.

This fund aims to create a society where children who lost opportunities to learn and have experiences due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake on January 1, 2024, can discover their potential through digital technology. By providing a place where they can freely engage in activities and access cutting-edge digital technology for free, we strive to help them realize their potential.

Since last year, AAJ and Code for Everyone have partnered in the "Aramco STEAM Challenge," a program to promote and expand STEAM education, particularly in public junior high and high schools. This year, we are pleased to continue our collaboration with a new initiative.

Waleed Murad, AAJ Representative Director, said: "We were deeply saddened by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in January 2024 and the torrential rains in September 2024. Our thoughts remain with all those affected. Aramco continues to demonstrate its global commitment to

STEAM education and resilient communities by partnering with Code for Everyone to create a 'tech hub.' There, children will be able to freely drop in, learn, and reconnect with their hometown. This initiative aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth. We hope that this fund will help Noto’s children take new steps forward and build a brighter future."
